The Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer is turning convention on its head. Intelligent heat control helps prevent extreme heat damage to protect natural shine. Air temperature is measured 20 times every second by a glass bead thermistor thermal sensor, keeping the temperature under control. A microprocessor in the head intelligently controls the heating elements using data from the thermistor. Four precise heat settings ranging from 28°C to 100°C. Ultra-fast drying controlled, high-velocity airflow of 41L per second with 3 precise speed settings. Using Air Multiplier™ technology, the volume of air drawn in is amplified by 3 times, producing a high-pressure jet of air. Powered by the Dyson digital motor V9, with 13 impeller blades spinning at up to 110,000 rpm.
